SHS:Tuesday October 27th basketball game and 5th grade team recognition has changed location. It will be at The JFK Center on 515 S Alvasia St. Recognition is for 5th graders on the following teams: Basketball, cheer, archery, and academic. Mr. Black sent home a letter to all participants. SHS: The South Heights Fall Dance is happening this Friday Oct 16th. The cost is $2 to attend. We will also be selling concessions and other items. Let's get your $2 together. If you do not have the money, you can still enjoy fun Friday in the classroom.

Beginning this week, Henderson County Schools will be placing a backpack tag on all kindergarten students.
The tag will include your child’s contact information and will be placed securely on your child’s backpack. These tags help our transportation team and school staff quickly identify students and ensure they get to the correct location safely.
Red tags = Kindergarten
Please do not remove the tag from your child’s backpack.
The tag will remain with your child throughout the school year. Thank you

SHS: I will be calling down August and September birthdays at 1:25 to celebrate with Hercules Manufacture in the cafe. If you do not have a homeroom, please come down and help pass out goodies and help with crowd control. K students may need an assistant them down. Thank you

SHS: We received some classroom supplies from Walmart and The Retired Teachers Association. The supplies are up for grabs in room 107( Guidance/Enrichment room). Please get it afterschool, if you need it.
SHS: It seems to be dry enough for outside recess if you want to take your class out. This is teacher/grade choice. Be careful of water puddles.
