Students are invited to decorate a pumpkin to look like their favorite book character and bring it to school to be displayed in our library pumpkin patch. Pumpkins can be brought in as soon as they are finished, and please remember, no carved pumpkins! paint or decorations only!

Due to water-covered roads, continued rising waters throughout the morning, and the threat of severe weather, Henderson County Schools will be closed on Friday, March 3.
This will not be an NTI day of instruction. Child care centers will be open today at East Heights, Bend Gate, and Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center.

Our Child Nutrition Department has been rocking it this summer! 164,583 meals have been provided for children in our community.
